Rico Tubbs
Although named after a cop in Miami Vice, Rico Tubbs actually hails from the decidedly less sunkissed Finland. Since the very first releases : "Gangsters" and "Hip Rave Anthem" on Cheap Thrills it’s been non-stop - touring with the likes of deadmau5 , Fatboy Slim etc. having played everywhere from Avalon L.A to Sydney and Glastonbury , Boomtown and Fabric in UK all the while running club events in Finland non stop for 20 years and voted twice as the Best Electronic Music DJ.
Production side has been as busy as ever too: releases have flooded out on labels such as GS dubs, Deeprot, 3000bass, and Hot Cakes to name just a few. His own label "Bass=Win" is known to top the Beatport garage charts pretty much every release. Be it breaks , Speedgarage or bass house, it's all covered!
